We sent the branch of a Pinion tree off to our best perfumer so he could duplicate this scent for us. Woody, earthy, true Pinion scent. DOES NOT SMELL LIKE PINE-SOL. Pinion trees grow in New Mexico and other Southwest locations. Smells like the crushed needles & the bark of this popular tree. Dark terra cotta in color. Many artists including writers, painters, potters and jewelery makers tell us they MUST have this scent burning while working, as it keeps their creative juices flowing.
